As a Software Engineer specializing in AngularJS at Shiprocket, you’ll play a critical role in developing dynamic and responsive web applications that provide seamless user experiences. You’ll work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs and optimize frontend performance, ensuring that the platform is fast, scalable, and intuitive. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development practices. A passion for building scalable, user-centric applications and a collaborative attitude are key traits we’re looking for in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plans site design by clarifying goals; designing functionality.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to develop fully responsive web applications.
• Cooperate with the backend developer in the process of building RESTful APIs.
• Excellent understanding of JavaScript standards and ability to produce front-end code independently.
• Work on Bug-fixes and improving web app performance.
• Knowledge sharing and mentoring the teams.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate/ Post graduate degree in Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech/BCA/MCA).
• 2+ Years of hands-on experience as Frontend Engineer or similar role.
• Well versed with writing Functional and Object Oriented Javascript.
• Solid understanding of MVC structure.
• Well versed with AngularJS and its best practices.
• Experienced with CSS precompilers (SASS, SCSS, LESS).
• Understands the importance of writing unit test cases.
• Prior experience working with task runners/ bundlers (Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, Rollup, Browserify).
• Strong command of Web standards, cross-browser compatibility & browser performance.
• Experience with Git and Github & knowledge of Laravel is a plus.
• Active contributions to github & stackoverflow a plus.
