Designation: Associate Director / Director

Role Overview:

The Head of the Weights Management  Team will lead and oversee the weights management operations, interfacing courier partners, sellers and internal cross-functional teams. This role is crucial for ensuring that all shipments are accurately weighed and categorized, processes are streamlined and optimized, disputes are minimized, and reconciliation is expedited. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of logistics processes and how to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Courier & Seller Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with Courier and Seller to monitor their performance to ensure their performance, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with multiple business partners for customized SOPs and policies by evaluating and analyzing business insights for brand strategies.
    • Oversee Dispute & Reconciliation closure with business partners.
    • Negotiate costs with suppliers and partners to optimize profitability.
    • Coordination with courier partners (Higher Management) to address weight issues in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with the Product & Tech teams for building a seamless process & ensuring transparency.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Build and lead a high-performing team.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Process Excellence:
    • Analyze data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future weight-related issues.
    • Ability to create process excellence documentation, flowchart, presentations.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

    • Provide thoughtful leadership and advice to management on process improvement and in developing transformational business cases.
    • Must be solutions oriented with analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in data extraction using Excel, SQL, etc and Data analysis and presentation using MS Office & G-suite tools
    • Good negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with ease.
    • Experience in Supply Chain would be preferred.
    • B.Tech. or MBA from a tier-1 college.
